In January 2017, Mr. Zuk founded Athena Capital Markets as a merchant bank advisory firm, raising and advising on over $185MM for natural resource and diversified growth companies. Before founding Athena as Managing Partner, Mr. Zuk was Capital Markets Advisor for Blackbird Energy. There he assisted in the company becoming the best performing Canadian oil and gas stock in 2016, as well as raising $25MM in equity capital. His industry experience also extends to Strategic Oil and Gas wherein he was VP Business Development, successfully raising $100MM in equity. Prior thereto, Mr. Zuk was an Equity Research Analyst at Stifel Nicolaus covering large cap and small cap oil & gas producers ($50MM-$10B market cap). At Stifel, he developed a proprietary valuation methodology which helped earn him a top-10 Starmine Analyst ranking based on absolute and excess return, for two years. Mr. Zuk also has Equity Research experience at TD Newcrest and Raymond James, working alongside a top-ranked Analyst in the junior and senior producer space. In aggregate, Mr. Zuk has over 17 years experience in both capital markets and industry, both of which have yielded him an extensive clientele of US/Canadian institutional investors.

Jason Baibokas is a seasoned finance professional that has raised several billion dollars of capital across hundreds of transactions throughout his career. Mr. Baibokas has held increasingly senior capital markets positions with TD, Merrill Lynch, Thomas Weisel Partners, and Clarus Securities, culminating as a Partner and Head of Institutional Equities for Jennings Capital. His focus has been helping to build high growth companies across a broad range of sectors, including: Healthcare, Technology, Natural Resources, Power, and Industrial. Jason has extensive investment banking experience having served in roles as a partner, steering committee member, and board member at bulge bracket and boutique firms. He now leverages his finance, capital markets experience, and network to help companies who are looking to grow their businesses. Jason holds a CFA designation as well as an MBA from the Rotman School of Management.
